Last July, with the debut of the REDMAGIC 8S Pro, Qualcomm gave us the privilege of being the first to utilize the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset outside of the Galaxy range. The Leading Version of the chipset propelled the 8S Pro’s performance, elevating GPU and CPU speeds beyond what the REDMAGIC 8 Pro offered.

In true REDMAGIC fashion, we’ve once again pushed the boundaries of performance, this time with the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version chipset. This seemingly modest enhancement translates to significant performance gains. According to Geekbench 6 results, this upgrade enables the enhanced chipset to achieve single-core and multi-core scores of 2319 and 7215 respectively, showcasing its superior computational prowess.
