To stay in touch with our community, we try to reach out and keep up with how our REDMAGIC fam is doing. So, each year, we send out a survey to thousands of our users to find out what they enjoy, how they feel, and where we can improve.
What You Taught Us
A large number of participants took part to help us piece together a roadmap of our community. With this survey, we wanted to learn what makes you tick, from why you buy the things you buy to how you use your REDMAGIC devices.
More than anything, we want to understand your needs, and with your guidance and feedback, we can make changes that keep our community happy. So, before we get into the insights from our survey, we’d like to thank our community for responding wholeheartedly and sharing their opinions. As always, your voice sets the tone for what we’re capable of achieving.
Fun Fact: Around 80% - 90% of REDMAGIC smartphone users treat the device as their primary phone, while 10% - 20% use it as a dedicated gaming secondary phone.
Power Really Moved You
Based on the survey results, we found that the most loved feature of our REDMAGIC devices is battery performance. The overall main factors behind REDMAGIC purchases for participants were chip performance, battery life and fast charging, value for money, system smoothness and stability, and display quality. Battery performance, alongside fast charging, is what drew most people in and kept them on the path to victory.
The People Behind the Screens
The most rewarding parts of this survey were getting a clearer picture of the people who make up the REDMAGIC community. Beyond gaming, we discovered a community filled with IT professionals, content creators, problem-solvers, creatives, and tech enthusiasts.
While you might think the gamers take up the lion’s share of our fanbase, we were pleasantly surprised to see that IT professionals make up the largest segment of our REDMAGIC audience. Whether you're coding, troubleshooting networks, managing infrastructure, or gaming after work, REDMAGIC has become a trusted device for tech-savvy professionals.
At the end of the day, our community is filled with different people who share a passion for going beyond expectations, and that’s pretty awesome.
Fun Fact: IT professionals lead the REDMAGIC market with the largest share, while people in engineering or manufacturing make up the next largest portion.
The Games We Continue to Conquer
The REDMAGIC community dabbles in different gaming genres, but a few titles stood out for many players. From battle royale victories to open-world adventures, these are the games dominating our community.
At the top stands Call of Duty Mobile while Genshin Impact comes in close behind, followed by PUBG Mobile. Roblox and Brawl Stars followed closely behind. Most of our fans seek out high-performance and demanding action games.
Adventure games are by far the most popular genre for our fans, followed by role-playing games, strategy games, and First-Person Shooters.
Fun Fact: 60% of REDMAGIC gamers play mobile games less than 10 hours per week, ensuring a healthy, balanced gamer-to-daily lifestyle ratio.
The Good, The Bad, and The Honest Feedback
Now, our survey shows that our fans are generally happy with our brand and products, with REDMAGIC being strongly associated with top-tier performance, distinctive futuristic designs, and strong value for money. Based on the survey, overall product satisfaction scores sit at a high 8.7/10, with shopping experience satisfaction scores following the said lead.
However, it’s our job to also listen and take action when the feedback isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, too. While customer service satisfaction remains mostly positive, this area remains a weaker link for our brand. This is why we take responsibility and pledge to improve the support experience for all our fans.
The One Feature You May Have Missed…
Did you know that REDMAGIC now has wireless charging? Despite debuting in both the 11 Pro and 11S Pro, we were shocked that many people didn’t really know that we added some wireless charging magic to our latest flagship phones! Now, since the dawn of the 11 Pro, our fans can enjoy 80W wireless charging that feels even faster than most other brands.
